Interdisciplinary PhD Symposium 2011 - At a glance
The 4th Interdisciplinary Symposium will take place on November 2, 2011 at Wissenschaftspark Albert Einstein on Telegrafenberg Potsdam (Map). You and your PhD projects are the main focus of the all-day-event.

In front of a cooperative audience you will have the opportunity to present your doctoral dissertation in the form of a lecture or rather a poster or during a 4 minutes science slam contribution. You can also help fashion the event as member of a group of experts and/or a jury or as a presenter. The symposium will be held in German and English, you yourself decide about the language of your presentation.
Scientific exchange and networking
The day offers a lot of space and time for scientific exchange and networking extending beyond the own subject. Highlight of the symposium will be the granting of awards for the best contributions at the end. You are also very welcome without an own contribution. The day will be rounded off by a small reception on which the talks can be continued in an intimate atmosphere. To give also young families a chance to take part at the PhD symposium, Potsdam Graduate School will offer a free child care during the symposium.
The participation is free of charge.
